Rodeo Clowns and The Good The Bad and The Ugly LIVE this Thursday, February 18th at Jamian’s in Red Bank, NJ!

Fresh from rocking the awesome crowd at the Kenilworth Rescue Squad Benefit at Apples last Saturday, the Rodeo Clowns are revved and ready, along with The Good The Bad and The Ugly Band, to tear the roof off of Jamian’s Food and Drink in Red Bank, NJ this Thursday night, February 18th!

Rodeo Clowns will not be clowning this time around.  The Rodeo Clowns headline what’ll be an exciting evening of Roots-based Americana , Folk, Country and Rock music. Rodeo Clowns rock Jamian’s Food and Drink in Red Bank, NJ on Thursday, February 18th!

Rodeo Clowns will be joined by special guests The Good The Bad and The Ugly Band starting off the night at 8:00 p.m. The GBU will perform original and select cover material.

The Rodeo Clowns (http://www.myspace.com/rodeoclownsnj) are a fun and vibrant 5-piece Alt./Americana/Country band, based out of the country music capital of the world… New Jersey !  For the past year the band has been playing throughout the Jersey Shore area, including Michael Patrick’s 3rd Annual Jersey Country Revival and Thursday Night Live’s Music Series and at Jamian’s Sunday Night Series, as well as headlining gigs at Brewster’s Bar and Grill in Bradley Beach, NJ and Crossroads in Garwood , NJ . Rodeo Clowns’ specialty is playing covers by such beloved as The Grateful Dead, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and The Who, just to name a few.

Michael Patrick is an established local performer, who recently shared the stage with such country superstars as Randy Travis, Rosanne Cash and Marty Stuart. Along with his success performing as a solo artist, Patrick currently fronts two bands, MICHAEL PATRICK and THE SUBURBAN HILLBILLIES (http://michael-patrick.net) and RING OF FIRE BAND, Johnny Cash Tribute (http://www.ringoffireband.com). Patrick is also a founder of the Suburban Roots Concert Series (http://www.myspace.com/srcsnj, http://www.facebook.com/suburbanroots.concertseries), a concert promotion group whose mission is to support and promote artists in the Americana , Roots, Folk and Country genres in Patrick’s home state of New Jersey.

Combining equal parts folk, rock and Americana, NYC singer/songwriter Joe Whyte’s (http://www.myspace.com/joewhyte) songs have been described as “alt-country pearls that shimmer with simplicity and effectiveness” and “beautifully crafted, melancholic Americana.” Whyte’s vocal delivery, storytelling and confessional lyrics convey a sense of urgency not typically seen in today’s music industry.
